We started March off with a GIAG British Sign Language session in the Loft.  Students were taught basic phrases and common words.  Everyone had a great time and wanted to learn more, so another session was booked in for the end of March.

Voting opened in the SU Elections, and for the second time, it was an online election.  We had 5 candidates standing for SU president and 1 candidate for NUS Delegate.  You cast your votes and Nihit Tiwari was elected as the new SU President for 2022/23.  This will be Nihit’s second term of office as President and we wish Nihit all the best for another successful year.

We held a Pool Tournament in the Hangout.  We had lots of competitors and everyone had a great time.

A headspace and a chocolate meditation session took place in the Loft as part of Mental Health week. 

We held another Speak Week and asked students their opinion on academic misconduct.  The answers you give us will be analysed and reported to the university to help improve your university experience.
