Nominations closed in the first ever Bolton SU online election.  We were amazed to see we had 24 students who had nominated themselves as candidates to run in the election!  After speaking to each candidate in our briefing sessions the final number of candidates who went forward to campaign was 10, which is fantastic.  On Friday 24^th April, the winner was announced.   You chose Nihit Tawari to be your next SU President for 2021. 

We extended the deadline for nominations in the Student Led Teaching Awards as we want as many students as possible to nominate.  You now have until Wednesday 28th to tell us all about the amazing work that goes on at the university of Bolton.

We partnered with the University of Manchester SU and Salford SU to bring you a live debate between the Manchester Mayoral Election candidates which was aired live on our Facebook page.
